Molly Grace (MG) has found her vocal chords (or cords...?)! She just doesn't stop chatting with squeeks and giggles, especially to her daddy who she thinks is HILAIRIOUS! All he needs to do is look over her cot and she grins from ear to ear.
We have met a whole gang of new mini friends now that we have started going to mum's group. The first one was today and it was an interesting dynamic to say the least... there are some full on characters!!
Since the last post MG has sat for and passed her hearing test, had her immunisations and is working on being the first baby under 3 months to have a pony tail... well, not quite, but it wont be long!
Hi there,
I have set up a new weightloss blog. If you would like the address please email me at ashleyecarr@gmail.com.
I will continue to post the adventures of the Carr family here... So for anyone who is dropping in to see pics of Molly, don't worry, I will continue to post photos and update on her progress here!
Hope everyone is having a fab day!
Here's some more molly photos from the wedding and also when I was playing dollys and dressing her up... excuse my closed eyes in the 1st one.

Well I've kind of fallen of the face of the blogging earth recently... and I think understandibly!
All of us are doing very well indeed! Molly is the most adorable angel doing all the right things, feeding well, sleeping VERY well (like is already sleeping for 6 hour blocks at night- I know this may change!!) and John and I are feeling surprisingly refreshed.
We went to see the maternal and child health nurse today and she's really happy with Molly's development which makes me SO happy considering her slightly bumpy ride into the world. She's still just under her birthweight but the nurse said she's really happy with how steadily her weight is incresing now that she is entirely breastfed.
We have an appointment for Molly to get an ultrasound on Thursday. She has what they call a sacral dimple which looks like a second anus just above her real one but is closed... it is probably just a cute little thing that makes her unique however the doctors wanted to make sure it's not connected to anything like her bowel or spinal column. They seemed pretty relaxed about it so I'm not too fussed.
John and I went out to a wedding lat night and left Molly with Aunty Mezz and Uncle Byron... I couldn't stop watching the clock and couldn't wait till people started dancng so we could make our getaway!! I missed Molly SO much! I couldn't bare it!! I thought she would have been crying all night missing her Mummy but alas... she just slept most of the time, grizzled a bit when she was hungry but took a bottle of my breastmilk and went back to sleep! Mummy was in a much worse state than Molly!
I have decided to start a new blog... I am yet to create it but would like to have a fresh new weightloss blog (thinking of going password protected). Since Molly's been born this address has been passed around to my family and friends- which is fine except for the fact that I don't feel it can be a personal space for my thoughts now- it's more of a Molly photo story e-book. I'll keep you all posted about the progress of this new blog. It will be a case of anyone who would like the address of the new blog emailing me for it.
That's about all I have to report now except that the weightloss has hit a plateau at approx 15kgs... so there is a fair way to go to get me back into the healthy zone but once I'm out walking/swimming etc. it shouldn't take too long to shape up! Right now my belly is all saggy baggy as I got stretchmarks on my existing stretchmarks and my skin just may not recover... oh well- the joys of bringing another life into the world... I'm not too bothered!
Hope you all have a nice week- Melbournians- keep cool tomorrow... it's supposed to be nearly 40 degrees!
